In reply to your EFC2/T9.12.22, the customer writes as follows :-

"I am sorry I cannot agree with you as I am unable to see
"How I can be asked or expected to pay for a battery which
"has been condemned by The Chloride Co's Brighton Agents,
"whose letter I forwarded to you for perusal.

The letter referred to by the customer was forwarded to us and the statement made by The Chloride Co's Agents was taken up with The Chloride Co. Will you please see your Memo ECF1/T19.6.22 to E.P. and your letter to The Chloride Co. EEC2/T16.6.22.

If you still think that The customer should be charged with 50% of The Chloride Co's charges for re-conditioning this battery, and the customer refuses to pay, we shall have to put the matter before B.J. for his decision.
