Continuation No. 1. From THE AVON INDIA RUBBER CO. LTD. to Messrs.Rolls-Royce,Ltd. 27.6.21. The tread pattern to which you refer in your last paragraph is undoubtedly our Sunstone, which admittedly "hums" something like a steel studded cover, by reason of its suction grip, but we have not found that the noise is objected to excepting in isolated instances. The tread pattern which we have chosen for our straight sided cord covers is, however, quite different and will be perfectly silent. Assuring you of our best services. We are, Yours faithfully, THE AVON INDIA RUBBER CO. LIMITED. [Signature] LONDON MANAGER. RECEIVED. JUN 28 1921 | ||
