CHASSIS - UNDERSHIELD FOR GEARBOX SECTION.

The Tinsmiths Department have now, to my instruction finished an Undershield produced from our detailed drawings for same. It is very essential that we have this tested out at an early date with all the necessary parts on the chassis.

In order accomplish this end I suggest that a dummy starter should be fitted. This will enable you to make the necessary experimental "fit up" to the chassis, and let me know whether our details are satisfactory, or otherwise.

This matter is very urgent, owing to the fact that details for producing the parts are being held up pending your report.
