RR 235 (T50 BKS.) (SH57.29-6-20.) MP 224358 X 5660 ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. INSTRUCTIONS. To: EFC. Order No: AC.94. Customer's No: X Date: 31. Oct. 1927. 20 hp Dynamo Sentinels. Some 87° and 97° sentinels have been used on tests during the last few months. An 87° sentinel was put on dynamo 12F a standard machine on 9.6.27. This became broken after 1843 miles and was replaced by another. This was found melted after a total mileage of 2855. A 97° sentinel was then fitted and this remained intact for 6278 miles after which the engine was removed from the chassis. This car is the one which was fitted with the dynamo without controller in December but the 87° sentinel was put on about the same time and the 97° in February.
