Dear Sir, re PHANTOM III ROLLS-ROYCE CHASSIS NO. 3.AX-21. ------------------------------------------ We beg to thank you for your letter of the 5th inst., and we are very concerned to note that the new carburetter which has been fitted has not eliminated the difficulty experienced by your driver in starting up the engine on certain occasions after it has been switched off. This is a matter which must receive further investigation and we can assure you of our earnest desire to eliminate the trouble without delay. We have discussed the matter with our Experimental Department and they would like to have the opportunity of investigating the trouble personally on your car if you could arrange to send it to our Cricklewood Depot for a day in the near future. If you agree to this course and you could give us 24 hours notice, we will arrange for a representative of the Experimental Department to go down to Cricklewood to meet your driver. Thanking you in advance, We are, dear Sir, Yours faithfully, | ||
