Y5840 To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} From G.W.H. Hotel de France, Chateauroux, France. 27/12/30. We shall have finished our mileage on Sunday and we are leaving Chateauroux with the car on Monday. Without anything unforseen happens, the car should arrive in Derby on Wednesday. We are having to patch up the Exhaust Manifold which has broken during the last day's run. We are also experiencing trouble with the Exhaust Valves taking up all the clearance. Otherwise the car has behaved very well. G.W.H. G W Hancock | ||
