Messrs. Dennis Bros., Ltd.,
Guildford,
S U R R E Y.

Dear Sirs,

Thank you for your letter of the 25th April.

Answering the query in the last paragraph of your letter, it is true that Messrs. Wellworthy's have made arrangements with Rolls-Royce to market these bearings.

The actual material which you have been running may be modified slightly in order to facilitate production, and we are just concluding our experimental tests on the new type. As far as we can ascertain at present, the modification will in no way affect the durability of the bearings. As soon as we have finished our proof runs we will inform you of the exact position and the name of the alloy which we think will suit your production requirements, and which you should order through Messrs. Wellworthy.

Yours faithfully,

For ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
