To Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/FD.{Frank Dodd - Bodies} c. to Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wst. 6116 HEAD LAMPS. The writer had the opportunity yesterday of trying the new proposed standard head lamps fitted on B.56.BN.{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington} The lighting is good, but it was found that over moderately rough roads the reflector in the N.S. head lamp constantly flickers up and down. The lamp is alright when dipped, the trouble only occurs in the full on position. This matter should be taken up with Messrs Lucas immediately.
