Dear Sirs,

Thank you for your letter of the 10th of this month and for the prints you sent showing comparative performances of Rolls Royce and Lucas dynamos.

Before further discussing these performances we think it would perhaps be wise if we were to make a comparison of the more important dimensions affecting the performance and output of the two machines. With this end in view we suggest that you send us a dynamo of the type to which you refer, and we would report on the chief differences.

Alternatively, if you would prefer it, we will send you particulars of the leading dimensions of the Lucas machine so that you can tabulate those of your own machine side by side.

Yours faithfully,

JOSEPH LUCAS LIMITED.
