20-HP CHASSIS.

REAR SPRINGS SEC:7030.

With reference to our memo' BY {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} /HEB {H. Biraben} 1/M6.10.27. your memo' Roy {Sir Henry Royce} /Dn14/BH. and Messrs. Firth's letter AWP/EFS/637/1, kindly note the Rear Springs in question are standard in every way except the Free Camber which is to be 3.500 instead of 4.000. The deflection from Free to Full Load will be standard that is 4.000. Therefore under full load the springs will have .500 negative Camber.

We think the above will make the whole matter clear to Messrs. Firths, and we return herewith correspondence.
