The Wraith frame weighs 347 lbs, the original Bentley III 330 lbs and we anticipate that the final Bentley III frame will be between 225 and 250 lbs. The final Bentley frame, though about 100 lbs lighter than the Wraith, should not be less rigid. The cost, from estimates we have so far received will certainly be less than half that of the Wraith, we hope ultimately one third. One set of frame dies should be capable of producing the Bentley III frame, long and short wheelbase Bentley SG{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} frames and a replacement chassis for the Wraith if it is decided that this is necessary. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
