E.P.C. c.c. Mr Brock. X. 4383 - BY6-P22.1.24. 20HP. 52.S.5. BALFOUR. DYNAMO NO.176. In connection with EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}/Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}4/017124, I am handing on to you the Dynamo in question. I think it is of sufficient interest still for us to put the armature right or replace it and run the machine in question with the brushes in the condition in which they were received in order to check whether such faulty brush bedding would account for the failure. In regard to the Distribution Box, I am returning this direct to Mr Royce, and would therefore like you to send a lad to my office for same, as in this case the only issue appears to be one of reconditioning and adding spring washers on the base to the various screwed connections. Order number for the work in question is 50768. BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} [Signature] | ||
