40/50 HP. CHASSIS - E.2. SERIES MATERIAL.

Instructions are about to be issued for 200 sets of material for E.2 series, therefore we give below a list of modifications which you have in hand, and would like you to let us know as soon as possible which of these modifications you expect to have completed the standardisation tests within the next two or three weeks, so that we can arrange for the present production parts to be held up for this series until the last possible moment :- L.o.P G74096

Simplified, Lightened and Improved Clutch No.4. LeC.2273.

Lubrication of Clutch Operating Shaft. " 2264.

Modification to Servo Gears in which the pinion diameter is increased to improve gear grinding. G 72848

Strengthened Tie Rods - DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}1/M.23.11.25.

Front Axle Control Damper - N.Schs.2294 &2231. } yes

Modified Torque Re-action Dampers to suit front axle control damper.

-Hydraulic Steering Damper- - N.Sch. 2356. Not wanted

New Registration plate carrier in place of frame on tank. - N.Sch. 2286.

Oil Tight Gland on rocking shaft in steering box making same similar to 20 HP. Test on Bench.

Improved Lubricating of Ball Pins on shock damper connections.

Heat Shield for rear silencer N. Sch. 2311.

Modified Front Silencer Le C. 2275.

New Type Bonnet Catches. N. Sch. 2319.
