(22) Car filled and being run on U.S.A. oils. ------------------ This car (24-EX) which is are running in France was right up to date as far as we know for the left-hand car, and has incorporated in it all the latest parts which have been standardised for the right-hand Phantom II. The only extra items which will be on the second left-hand car (25-EX) are :- The new shape dashboard to suit the new radiator. This includes the modification which allows the bonnet to overhang the dashboard. The instrument board on 25-EX will also be arranged as far as we know to suit the latest U.S.A. requirements. We also have to fit stop light switch, and there is a modification to the backing light switch. 24-EX has fitted to it all the parts which we think are necessary to run 10,000 miles. Before it went away, it was tried by OY. and SRM. We also ran the car on Brooklands. The car as a whole was very much better | ||
