Schneider Trophy 1931 (contd.)

We are confident that no drastic re-design of the engine is necessary but a good many of the pieces will require modification, that is, the engines for the 1931 race would have to be new engines and, in addition, we should require two engines for development work.

It is assumed that 400 more B.H.P. means 2300 BHP.

We suppose we should be able to borrow the development engines from the Air Ministry, and we think 100 hours should completely cover the development running necessary.
