Cylinder Head Water-way Design.

We send you herewith copies of two letters received from the Harrison Radiator Corporation of America. You may be interested in their criticisms of our Phantom III Cylinder head design, their own standards with regard to adequate size of waterways and their remarks as to the affects of water-jacketing of exhaust ports etc.

We are going to determine experimentally just how much extra heat to jacket water, our exhaust port jacketing accounts for, and will give you the results as soon as we obtain them.

We think their suggestion, that it is better to delete waterways altogether where they cannot be of adequate size is worth trying out.
