W.A. Robotham Esq.,
Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd,
Derby.

Dear Robotham,

You have an arrangement whereby you utilise the front shock absorbers as part of a radius arm for your front axle beam. I believe that it is covered by a patent. Is it satisfactory, and would you consider licensing us?

Your aircraft department said they thought they would have some work to place out, but we have not yet heard anything further from them. If you get an opportunity will you ask them if they will let us quote when the time arrives?

Yours sincerely,

S B Wilks
