To HPS{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr} from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AFM.{Anthony F. Martindale} c. Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} c. By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} 200a Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AFM.{Anthony F. Martindale}2/MH.{M. Huckerby}25.10.37. 6.B.IV. BRAKES. Until a decision can be made as to whether we are going to use aluminium drums on Bentley, or not, even assuming they are satisfactory, it is necessary to be prepared to fit iron drums and some sort of ferrous shoes. The only way quickly to make such shoes is to cast shoes identical in shape with GB2752/3 in R.R. Cylinder Iron. The increase of weight will be about 11 lbs. Will you please instuct a set of 4 shoes and two spares, immediately. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AFM{Anthony F. Martindale}, | ||
