Falcon X, (six-cyl. engine). Compression ratio 6.1 to 1. SUMMARY OF TEST. The Claudel carburetters in the Vee. being fitted up. The inter-control for the butterfly throttles on each carburetter had to be removed as it fouls the present water jackets on the castings. E.28308 castings were removed after a short run, being required on the 3rd. F.X. engine. The indications pointed to the fact that the sizes of jets as supplied with the carburetter were too small.
