To BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} from E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} c. to BJ. RG.{Mr Rowledge} Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} X3841 E2/M28. 8. 26. F.10. CARBURETTER. X.3933 X3841 We send herewith drawing LeC.2283 shewing the 2.5" dia. horizontal duplex carburetter for the Falcon. This drawing shews all the information previously sent with possibly one or two slight maxix modifications, together with most of the remaining information required to complete the casting. Particulars of the core supports and plug holes for the throttle jacket will be given on a later drawing. The quantities for the float chamber are not yet calculated. The dimensions for the sku emulsion jet, and other quantities in connection with the carburation device follow those given on the Claudel-Hobson drawing No.58-GD. It may be found necessary to drop the float chamber somewhat to comply with the wide range of petrol feed pressure specified by the Air Ministry, but we will deal with this point later. Would you kindly put in hand the detail drawings for this carburetter. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} | ||
