W/S - C. C. to EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} x7961 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} B/KW. 25.6.34. R.{Sir Henry Royce} Summers Esq. Bentley. Mr. Richard Summers hopes to send his Bentley in to Park Wards for attention to the body next week. Attached is a copy of a letter he sent to me enumerating some of the faults on the coachwork. We think that Mr. Summers is worth special attention. His brother has just bought a new Bentley, he has sold two to friends of his, the Rollestone, we understand that his father has just bought a 20/25, he is likely to sell others. We therefore think it worth while for EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} to have a look at his body and ensure that his complaints are dealt with as far as is practically possible. Mr. Summers has already given Ely. a written appreciation of the Bentley. He has now covered 12,000 miles and is very enthusiastic on the merits of the chassis.
