Dear Sir,

"TONIKOL" the "Germ Process" Concentrate to increase the lubricating efficiency of Mineral Oils.

In reference to the trials you are carrying out with TONIKOL; we beg to call your attention to an article entitled "Lubricating Oil" by W.R.G. Atkins, Sc.D., F.I.C., which appears in the December number of the "Automobile Engineer".

Apart from the comparative tests of a Straight Mineral and a Compounded Oil which Dr. Atkins describes, you will be interested to notice that the "Germ Process" is given a definite status by this independent Authority, i.e., "Lubricating Oils may be divided into four main groups" :-

(1) Pure Mineral Oils.
(2) Pure Fatty Oils.
(3) Compounded Oils - a mixture of 1 and 2.
(4) "Germ Process" Oils.

You are no doubt a regular reader of "The Automobile Engineer"- the article is on pages 450-452 and will have a copy - but we shall be glad to send a further one if desired.

Yours faithfully,

HENRY WELLS OIL COMPANY
