Customer's No. X.4617E Re Failure of Exide GRR5-2 Battery (146) This battery has completed 15,544 miles on the road in France in addition to 11 months in the M.S. quite satisfactorily. Two cells are now shorted & have been opened up for inspection. The following is a brief report of their condition. General The battery box was in a good condition except that the stay cycle spokes were corroded & three of the nuts for tightening these were lost having come loose.
