Nearly all the modifications detailed below are intended to become standard as soon as they are proved worthy, so that stocks of all the parts affected should be kept low.

(1) VITAL.
Absolutely necessary changes for the safety and reputation of a car for higher speeds.

(a) New crankshaft. )
(b) New pistons. ) Put up crank
(c) New conn. rods. ) period and reduce
(d) New damper flywheel and spring drive - ) stress.
(G.I. principle.)

(e) Cast iron cyl. blocks to replace existing dry liner blocks.
(f) Double valve springs with modified gland.
(g) Mechanically operated vacuum pump for petrol feed.
(h) Battery ignition with scrubbing and umbrella rotor.
(i) 58" track, standard 21" well base rims for 6.75" tyres.
(j) Radiator of thinner type, shorter tubes, neater dimensions, integral shutters.
(k) Altered front and rear springs, lowering the car.
(l) Increased rake of steering.
(m) Slight corresponding modification to pedals and floorboards.
(n) Lightened flywheel.
(o) Stronger clutch brake (means new clutch casing).
(p) Cast dashboard.
(q) Axle control on front.
(r) Hydraulic and friction dampers fore and aft.
(s) Valances in place of tie-bars.
(t) 16 or 17 tooth axle.
(u) Wheel carrier at rear.
(v) Petrol tank (filler, distant reading gauge, reserve control, shortened sump, flattened fish tail).
(w) Step-irons for toolbox.
(x) Dipping lamps with brackets for new Lucas lamps.
(y) Body brackets for four point suspension.
(aa{D. Abbot-Anderson}) Serrated joint in clutch (latest WW. design).
(bb) New thrust on bevel pinion (this will be instructed immediately).
