In reply to Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rml/LG17.10.28, R's object in instructing us to get the damped pendulum lever tried on EAC.7. was in order to get results from it as quickly as possible, as at the present moment we are in some doubt as to what type of side steering tube etc. we should use on 'SS{S. Smith}' and he thought that it could be very quickly got on to EAC.7. Since the only object is to get a result quickly we certainly think you should put it on to the car where it will be ready the soonest.
