Dear Wilks,

Thank you for your letter of July 27th.

I find that the war has taken hold of me fairly
well next week, and I have got to be in the south of England
Wednesday and Thursday.

I might make Coventry on Friday afternoon if that
is any good to you. I could give you a ring to confirm for
certain on Friday morning.
