"STORK" & "HERON" STEERING GEAR X.3929.

We send herewith N.sch.1362 shewing a design of plain thrust bearing for the "Stork" and "Heron" to make the steering more irreversible, in accordance with Mr. Royce's recent ideas.

It is intended that this shall be a temporary measure, as we shall shortly be sending you the completed design for the "Seagull" steering gear, which will embody this plain thrust, but be somewhat modified in other respects.

Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}
