FRAMES

You will recollect we had a number of Cold-pressed Frames for both "Peregrine" and "Bensport", and in accordance with Wor{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}'s agreement, Dies are in hand for the 25 HP. Frames - cold-pressed - samples ex which will be here in a week or so - but we have not ordered Frames for the last 50 of the first 100 "W" Series Chassis (Nos 51-100).

T.3 If, however, continuity of output is to be maintained, it is necessary to order same within the next week or so, and the question arises, will the tests the Experimental Dept. have made with the cold-pressed Frames for "Peregrine" and "Bensport" be sufficient to release same for the 25 HP, or will additional tests be necessary?

There is a saving between Hot Pressed Nickel and Cold Pressed High Carbon Frames of £3.16. 0d per Frame for the 25 HP, so we are naturally anxious to introduce the Cold-Pressed, always provided the tests are satisfactory.

If, however, it will be necessary to submit the cold-pressed sample 25 HP. Frames to a further series of exhaustive tests, we shall have no alternative but to proceed forthwith with another batch of Hot Pressed Nickel.
