Dear Sirs,
I called upon you on May 8th last, and discussed with Mr Whyman a new Exhaust Silencer which I have patented, and I left one of these for your inspection.
On Tuesday next, Jan 21st, I shall be in Derby district, and I would be pleased if I could have a brief interview with Mr Ives on this matter.
Since my last visit, certain improvements have been made in this Silencer, and I trust that you may be interested.
