Mr Platford.

Re run on chassis 1926 with body from 1731.

1. Deep Frame.

The combination of this body and deep frame seemed to give an entire absence of body rattles.
The only rattle which could be observed on starting out was found to be the near side rear mud guard, which was cured by tightening up the [handwritten: coach] clutch bolt retaining it.

The body was excellent and I could find no fault with it except its tendency to boom and exaggerated slight noises with the window dividing the front from the back, closed. The lower half of the off side window in front is loose in its frame and gives a bad rattle, but this is no fault with the body or frame.

The front portion of the frame extending beyond the radiator and supporting the front end of the front springs flexs to a very great extent and are continually twisting from road shocks.

The appearance of this deep frame when fitted with a body is however, good and quite proportionate.
