LONDON.

Dear Mr. Hall,

Enclosed please find drawing of the 26 1/2 gallon tank which we propose to prepare for your car.

When we gave you the figure on the telephone this afternoon of 1.9 above the standard tank, we forgot that you have already a larger tank; therefore when building your body, work from the centre line of the tank.

With regard to the filler cap, this is to confirm that you will supply us with one the size you want and if you will sketch it in on this blue print, showing whether the filler has to be to clear the body, and send us the sketch together with the filler, we will fit it to the tank.

We understand that you like your existing brake proportioning and also the higher shock absorber load which we gave you, but would be glad if you would confirm this as soon as you get a chance of giving the car a prolonged run.

We do not want to fit slings to the rear axle if it can be avoided because we have had no experience whatever with them.

Presumably it is possible that you may find a shock absorber setting which will prevent the car crashing on the buffers, and at the same time check the rebound on the particular part of the course which is likely to cause trouble.

Yours faithfully,
