V142 To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Std.17/KW.15.4.36. Chassis Costs - Governor Control to Dampers. Referring to E/Lid.{A. J. Lidsey}1/HP.8.4.36 (copy attached), we have looked into this, and agree with the remarks in the above memo. In order to fit the 20/25 copperpipe to B-56-BN{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington}, it will only be necessary to substitute a valve body to F.84996 (standard 20/25) for the present valve body FB.1162 (standard Bentley) in the governor control unit, and then fit a 20/25 copper pipe complete with standard 20/25 union nuts, sleeves etc., the copper pipe being bent to suitable length and shape, etc. Will you obtain the necessary parts and despatch them to G.W. Hancock for use on B-56-BN{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington} car. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Std. | ||
