Dear Sirs,

We thank you for your letter of the 3rd May, and must apologise for the delay in replying to your earlier letter dated April 24th, which we attended to yesterday.

We note that you are sending us your order for six more Thermostats, generally similar to those supplied to your Order No. 80183.

In view of the remarks contained in our last letter we are wondering whether it will be convenient to modify your design to use the longer bellows and the adjustment suggested instead of the six units covered by your latest order. While we are agreeable to make these up for you if it is your particular wish to have them, we would prefer to deal with the order on a cost basis, and feel that we ought to warn you that if this arrangement is acceptable to you, the thermostats are likely to be very costly.

Perhaps you will consider our remarks and let us have your decision.

Yours truly,
THE BRITISH THERMOSTAT CO. LTD.

W. Martin-Hurst.
