SMITH PETROL GAUGE

We give below extract from a letter dated 17th inst. received from Messrs. S. Smith & Sons (Motor Accessories) Ltd., London:-

" We are in receipt of our Engineer Inspector Mr. Manwaring's report following his visit to your Works on Wednesday last, and, dealing with the question of Petrol Gauges, we thank you for your kind suggestions, which we are adopting. We are buying future supplies of gauge enamel wire from Messrs. Connolly, and, in view of the trouble that you report you have experienced, are discontinuing the practice of forming the coils and arranging to use a high melting point wax. "

Roy.{Sir Henry Royce}
