Cricklewood Works,
LONDON, N.W.2.

For the attention of Mr. Russell.

Dear Sirs,

We have been experiencing inconsistent working of the petrol low level warning light on one of our 25 H.P. cars which is running in France. This appears to be due to petrol getting into the head of the tank unit and dissolving the insulation for the leads.

We are rather concerned about this trouble, and would like you to let us have your views on the matter. We shall endeavour to get the actual tank unit back from France.

Thank you for your letter of the 15th re a special pressure oil gauge for Mr. Hall's Bentley X.71118. As you have been unable to trace this particular instrument we have decided not to trouble about a spare gauge, so that this matter can now be dropped.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
