R.R. 235A (100 T) (S.H. 159, 11-8-20) G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} 2800 ORIGINAL TO HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} FROM R.{Sir Henry Royce} R2/M15.9.25. EXHAUST ANALYSIS. X.8230 X.4621 Regarding the testing of car and aero engines, we think it would be a good thing if we included an exhaust analysis in these tests, especially when getting out induction pipes, to see whether the distribution is good. I do not know how difficult an oper-ation is to carry out, and to be of value we ought to take samples from each of the cylinders separ-ately in some of the experiments.
