With reference to my circular memorandum BJ15/Hl.8.21, will you please let me know whether everyone in your department has been instructed accordingly, in order to save the present rate of 3/6d. for three minutes and 7/- for six minutes calls between Derby and London. Also whether your authority is being obtained from those in your department before they make a trunk call or send a telegram and whether in your absence you depute a representative to act for you in this respect.
