Specification of the above Chassis which has been received for overhaul, is revised as follows :- Work carried out at Clan 24.3.44. Steering Column & Box. LOP.FB.3799. FB.4155 Pendulum Lever (existing) - Crack tested and refitted. Cross Steering Tube. LOP.FB.4091. New Ball end and Pad fitted to near side. Front Suspension. LOP.FB.4092. The following new parts fitted :- FB.3826 Main Springs 800 lbs. Spring deflection 6.700. FB.4453/4 Lower Triangle Levers (existing). Crack tested and refitted. New Needle Roller Bearings fitted to Pivot Bearing Caps. Rear Axle. LOP.GB.4315. (Axle 9.B.V.) 10 x 43 Ratio .650 offset - Fully Floating. Bentley 111 type with Strengthened Centre Casing and longer Pinion Housing. Complete to above L.O.P. (removed 4.7.39), refitted, incorporating :- GB.4764/5 Axle Tubes - 4% carbon. GB.4334/5 Axle Shaft. EX.32912 Bracket in BZ/A.{Mr Adams} GB.4347 Suspension Bracket - Cast Steel. GB.1502 Bevel Wheel } 10 x 43 ratio. GB.4302 Bevel Pinion } R.R. product. EX.33010/11/12/13 - BZ/A Bushes and Washer in differential. Propeller Shaft. LOP.GB.4441. The following part fitted ex 9.B.V. :- Rear Prop. Shaft to suit the above Axle. - continued - | ||
