Order No: A.B. 54.
Customer's No. X.4215.
Bleriot-Phi Cut-out for 24 Volts.
The Bleriot cut-out no. 38657, which has been dismantled by Mr. Everley, has now had the shunt coil & resistance windings removed for replacement by a 24 volt winding.
The old wire is single silk covered and the bare copper diameter is .0085" very nearly (35 SWG). Hence the new wire required for the double voltage will be .006" dia (38 SWG)
The resistance of the old wire is 68.45 w, and that of the resistance winding 57.7 w a ratio of 1 to .7535 which will be approximately that required with the new winding.
Signed H.D. Allen.
This Sheet must be filed on completion of the work.
