INERTIA AND WEIGHT OF PHANTOM & SILVER GHOST FLYWHEEL & CLUTCH UNITS.
Replying to El/M26.4.26. With regard to the proposed further lightening of the Phantom flywheel and clutch, we supply the following information giving the polar moments of inertia and weights of the original Phantom, the lightened and improved and the Silver Ghost, flywheel and clutch units.

Complete Flywheel & Clutch.
| Original Phantom. | Lighter & Improved & recently standardised. | Silver Ghost.
|---|---|---|---|
Wt. of complete unit. | 168.25 lbs. | 150 lbs. | 114.437 lbs.
Rad. of gyration. (K) | .5147 ft. | .5111 ft. | .5504 ft.
Polar mom. of inertia { W/g K² } | 1.385 | 1.217 | 1.076
'I' relative to Silver Ghost. | 29% Greater. | 13% Greater. | >
