Part List

Description of Parts: WEAKER SPRINGS IN SIDE STEERING TUBE.

Origin: To reduce road shocks.

Experimental Test Report:
It is proposed, in cases of complaint with the original Phanton steering with 1.125" lead, that the springs in the side steering tube should be changed from 3500 lbs. to 1500 lbs. If found necessary, the .940 worm will also be fitted.

Road Test Report:
Several customers cars have satisfactorily been dealt with in this way by Paris Depot.
It has been agreed that approximately 50% reduction in road shocks can be obtained by alteration to the springs.
