(5) Should any of the wood jigs or models get broken or destroyed, you should have the necessary information in the form of a layout from which replacements can be made. The same thing applies to any detail drawings which might be lost or destroyed.

(6) As it has now been decided to build a sample body similar to B.V. with modifications which may involve locks, windows, sliding roof, seats, windscreen and rear boot, some of which might affect press tools, and for which detail drawings will have to be supplied, before the detail drawings can be made correctly it will be necessary for the changes to be laid in on the full sized layout.

Having now given you my main reasons for recommending that a new full size layout should be made, and after you have given the matter due consideration, I think that you will see the advantages of having the recommended drawing done, and I am sure that if it is dealt with in the right way, that you will find the benefit when you start production.

Yours faithfully,
FOR ROLLS-ROYCE, LTD.,
