x306 To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/AFM.{Anthony F. Martindale}15/KW.6.7.36. Phantom III Brakes - 30-EX. The standard Phantom III brass rivers for securing the Ferodo, which rub against the drum, have not been a great success - for one thing they are apt to fail, and for another they damage the brake drum. We notice there is a set of front brake shoes in the shop waiting to be fitted to 30-EX. Will you please take this opportunity to replace the brass Rivets by Tinman's headed solid copper rivets.
