PRICES' OIL FOR ROLLS-ROYCE CARS.
--------------------------------

Following our conversation early February that we should give Prices Oil Co. an undertaking to deal with their Lubricants for our Cars for a period of 12 months in view of the substantial reduction they had offered, our past experience with Prices, and the standing of the firm, you agreed it would be a good thing to make such an arrangement with them, and should any of the contingencies BJ. suggest arise i.e. other firms quoting lower figures or bringing better oils on the market, no doubt Messrs. Prices would satisfactorily meet such cases as they arise.

In a line from BJ. a few days ago he asks me to obtain in writing a statement that you agree with this, and that you are confident Prices Lubricants are going to be most suited for use on the "Goshawk" [handwritten insert] as well as the 40/50 HP [/handwritten insert] - this also includes Gear Oils. Will you kindly let me have such a line ?

I quite understand present arrangements do not include supplies for Aero Engines, which are being dealt with under a separate heading.

ROY.{Sir Henry Royce}
