Referring to Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Lid.{A. J. Lidsey}4/WA.{Mr Wallis}18.11.32 and the last few paragraphs we have looked at the bonnet on 19-EX and we agree that we should be better off without the contact pieces which have the disadvantage of concentrating the whole weight on them and thereby denting the tops of the panels.

As one assumes it is merely a case of leaving something off I presume this could be introduced fairly quickly.

We should like you to lengthen the support that holds the side of the bonnet away from the scuttle when the bonnet is open as it is too short on 19-EX and has allowed the scuttle to be marked. We find it is quite OK on the 20/25 but not on the 40/50.
