Dear Rm. {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} ,

Very many thanks for your letter of the 15th October, together with the detailed information concerning the Bentley exhaust valves. Actually I see no reason why you should not continue to use stellited silchrome valves, and I told Sam Heron so when he was over here, but he thought this material might be better. With your permission I will pass on the data to him which you have given me.

I have written to the States asking them to expedite the tests on the sparking plugs which we received from you and which I sent to them. I will let you have the results as soon as they come to hand.

If you are coming to town for the Motor Show I should be glad if you would let me know, and if your time permits perhaps you will have dinner with us.

With kind regards,

Yours sincerely,
F R Banks
