EXPERIMENTAL DEPARTMENT.

Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls}4/JH.

18th. January, 1939.

Cornercroft Ltd.,
Ace Works,
Queen Victoria Road,
COVENTRY.

For the attention of Mr. Rycroft.

Dear Sirs,

We understood from you the other day that when you had made the first wire wheel disc to our drawing you found that it had about a ½" too much dish. We have been looking for this ½" error.

We believe that the drawing which we sent originally was our GB.4479. This shows a total amount of dish of 2.500.

The five discs which you left here on Monday measure 2.500.

We think therefore that the print you have at your Works might possibly be out of date and wrong. If this is so, will you please return it and we will replace it with one that is correct.

We want to make sure that we have found the error, so that it shall not happen again.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
