Die Castings.

Re Roy{Sir Henry Royce}/MS.4/P.2.1.37.

We have been looking into the labour saving which could be expected due to better surface if the Bentley bottom half EB.307 were made a die casting. This would be in the region of 8/-. In view of these we should save nothing by going to Birmels for R.R.50 die castings of this piece.

Will you please obtain quotations from other firms for comparison. We are prepared to consider design modifications to make the piece a better proposition for die casting. and we should ask the firms for their recommendations.
