To DY.{F R Danby} from R.{Sir Henry Royce} Copy to CJ. " " DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} " " EH. ORIGINAL 10 APR 1919 RECEIVED RE ROAD SHOCK DAMPERS. We are pushing on with the design for these for the rear axle, which we hope to be able to send to Mr. Day within the next few days. Regarding those for the front axle, we think we had better continue to make them exactly like those that have been instructed for the cars for some time past (paststandard) The only thing we note that requires improvement is the spherical joints of the connecting rod. I will let you have a further memo about this in the course of the next few days. In the meantime I think the apparatus itself should go ahead. R.{Sir Henry Royce} | ||
