running board. Before we finish with this car we hope to have dealt with these deficiencies;

I am trying to get permission to bring this car over to Montlhery to get some lap speed figures as Brooklands is closed. If this can be arranged it will give you a chance of driving the car, and letting some of your customers see it. Conduit Street attitude is that this motor car should be kept out of the way as much as possible, so that it will not affect the sales of their standard bodies of which they have some fifty made, and they have asked us not to show it to anybody. We should be glad if you would bear this in mind.

I enclose a blueprint and a photograph of the car.

I am glad that you have managed to impress M.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore} Faroux with the standard Bentley.

Kind regard to Hm.{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs} and everyone at Sevres.

Yours sincerely,
